Digital Facilitation Scheme by The Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE)

The Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE)  has recently launched Digital Facilitation Scheme to help small businesses to adopt to progress their digitalisation journey. MBIE collaborates with Regional Business Entities (e.g., ChristchuchNZ), Digital Boost and other service providers (intermediaries). Sustainability and Resilience Institute is one of the intermediary service providers for MBIE and currently we are seeking businesses to sign up for the programme. The service is fully funded by the government and businesses that need assistance/guidance in digitalisation can sign-up before the 26th of August 2022. The business owners will learn about a variety of resources to help them build knowledge, skills, confidence, and trust in digital business tools, and help them adopt those tools within their own business models. Businesses in these groups will need to:

  • Be sole traders/self-employed or have between 1 to 20 employees,
  • Not be an existing Digital Boost Educate user, or not a registered user prior to 1 April 2022,
  • Be operating in a commercial environment,
  • Trusts or incorporated society
  • Want to improve their digital skill and utilise more digital tools for their business If you are interested
